Ease into the holiday season near a cozy fire and fragrant evergreens at the Durant House Museum Candlelight program on Saturday, December 8th and Sunday, December 9th from 2-6 p.m. both afternoons. 19th century-style merriment will prevail at the 1843 Durant House in St.Charles all afternoon. Admission for the event is $3 for adults and $1 for children. No reservations are necessary.
Fragrant evergreens, a roaring fire on the hearth, and an old-fashioned Christmas tree will recreate the heartwarming spirit of holidays past, while the extra-special museum tours will present an opportunity to savor and explore Durant House’s magnificent Winter Wonderland.
The Durant House Museum is located in the Leroy Oakes Forest Preserve, on Dean Street west of Randall Road in St. Charles.
