Restoration Work Day at Bliss Woods

A habitat restoration work day will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, December 22, at Bliss Woods Forest Preserve. Interested people should bring gloves and dress in long sleeves and long pants with sturdy shoes. All people are welcome, but children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be provided. Volunteers will be cutting and stacking brush. Those who have favorite loppers or handsaws may bring them, otherwise tools will be provided. Meet in the main parking lot.
