GENEVA – All Chocolate Kitchen in Geneva is celebrating its second anniversary with a chocolate tasting of chef Alain Roby's new Aroma Chocolate line. "Chocolate 101" will take place from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. June 30.
During the event, attendees will learn about the tasting path of chocolate through the history of the cacao bean. Guests will also learn how chocolate is made from the growth of the bean to its harvest, processing and preparation.
The Aroma Chocolate Line highlights four regional based Grand Cru truffles with influences from Bolivia, Ghana, Madagascar and Venezuela.
The cost to attend the event is $40 a person, which includes the class, four Aroma truffles, one French truffle and a glass of champagne to toast All Chocolate Kitchen's two-year anniversary.

Recently, pastry chef Alain Roby was named the 2013 Pastry Chef of the Year by the Chicago Culinary Museum. As an award-winner, Roby will also be inducted into their Chef Hall of Fame.
