Library to host school district's 'Imagination' art show

ST. CHARLES - The St. Charles Public Library will host "Imagination, the St Charles School District 303 Student Art Show," from July 1 to 31.

It will feature artwork created by elementary through high school students, including drawings, paintings, weavings, photographs, sculptures and digital media.

The gallery-worthy art will be displayed in the Huntley Meeting Room, the Net.Gallery and both lobby display cases. The library is at 1 S. Sixth Ave., St. Charles.

Funding for the matting and framing of the K-8 artwork is sponsored by the elementary and middle school parent teacher organizations. An open house showcasing the student artists will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 13, in the Huntley meeting room.
