Peter Frampton's Guitar Circus to feature B.B. King, among others Aug. 16

AURORA – Grammy winner Peter Frampton will bring Frampton's Guitar Circus to RiverEdge Park in Aurora on Aug. 16. The tour will also feature blues legend B.B. King, slide blues guitarist Sonny Landreth and special guest Cheap Trick's Rick Nielsen.
Landreth has recorded 11 albums and played with musicians like Eric Clapton and Jimmy Buffett. King – synonymous with Blues – has tallied 15 grammy awards; been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; and was ranked among the 10 greatest guitarists of all time by Rolling Stone. Frampton has worked with artists, such as George Harrison, David Bowie, Jerry Lee Lewis and Ringo Starr.
Gates open at 4:30 p.m. and the show starts at 6:30 p.m.
RiverEdge Park is located at 360 North Broadway in downtown Aurora. Tickets cost $35 for general admission; $55 for preferred bench seating; and $150 a V.I.P. package, which includes premium seating and merchandise.
