Kane County Scaregrounds open Friday

ST. CHARLES – The Kane County Scaregrounds will be open 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday through Oct. 26; and 4 to 7 p.m. Sundays, Oct. 20 and 27 (monster-free Sundays), at the Kane County Fairgrounds, 525 S. Randall Road, St. Charles.

The displays can be viewed through 3-D glasses. The event is the primary fundraiser for Steel Beam Theatre in St. Charles.

Tickets cost $15; participants must be older than 13 or accompanied by an adult. There also will be a monster-free, 3-D viewing from 4 to 7 p.m. Oct. 20 and 27, at a cost of $10 for adults and $5 for children.
