Classical Music Program

In anticipation of "The Four Seasons" concert by the Elgin Symphony Orchestra at the Batavia Fine Arts Centre, the Batavia Public Library will host a program on classical music at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, at the library, . Music historian and composer Jim Kendros will explain how to listen to classical music, and he also will discuss the works of Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, and Vivaldi, whose music will be featured during the concert. The library program is free.
