Bird Walk at Cantigny Park
The park is officially closed in January but nobody told the birds! Cantigny park will be offering a Bird Walk on Saturday, January 12, unless there is a big blizzard or bitter cold. It's sometimes a challenge to find birds in the dead of winter but that's part of the fun 19 species were found on the the January 2012 walk -- not bad! The walk is free and so is parking. Entry to the park will most likely be through the outbound lane at Winfield Road.
