Grand Victoria Casino opens Indulge Show Kitchen Buffet

ELGIN – The Grand Victoria Casino has officially opened its buffet-style restaurant conglomeration – Six micro-restaurants in one. The Indulge Show Kitchen Buffet integrates a live-action cooking studio into the main dining area where trained chefs prepare appetizers, entrees and pastries and desserts.
Indulge is currently serving cuisine from around the world including American comfort food, Latin-inpired, Mediterranean and Asian. There pastry shop and a salad bar. A variety of dishes are being offered from Brazilian Churrasco and wood-fired pizzas to a build-your-own stir fry.
“... [Indulge Show Kitchen Buffet] is truly a one-of-a-kind experience and we believe that guests will enjoy the wide variety of food and flavors freshly made,” said general manager Jim Thomason in a news release.
Open seven days a week, Indulge also offers special Friday and Saturday buffets. Friday there is a seafood buffet with all-you-can-eat-crab legs from 4 to 10 p.m., and costs $29.99. The Saturday Prime Rib Buffet takes place from 4 to 10 p.m., and costs $24.99. Prices also include fountain drinks, coffee, tea and milk. The restaurant's design combines Victoria Casino's style with a modern twist, according to the release.
The designers’ intent was to marry the existing Victoria style and esthetics with a clean and modern edge. Among some of the favorite unique design elements include the fire features and oversized planters at the entryway. The eclectic and fun nature of the decorative chandeliers adds a playful and expected element to the space.
