Healing Gardens to open Sunday

ST. CHARLES – Healing Gardens, a two-acre expanse of woodland and perennial gardens at Stone Hill Farm in St. Charles will open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 14.
The admission cost is $5 a person and $10 a family. Those interested may call for discounted group rates. Cancer survivors will be admitted for free. Donations are welcome.
Healing Gardens is cultivated and hosted by Deborah Marqui, owner of Stone Hill Farm, with her husband, Buzz Marqui.
Healing Gardens recently completed its children’s garden. Bring children or grandchildren to play in the dirt box, plant a seed, swing from the trees, explore special plants in a children's flower garden or play in the forest cottage.
The opening will offer an optional outdoor yoga class, "Yoga in the Garden," taught by Nancy May from 1 to 2 p.m. Visit www.yogafromtheheart.org or call 815-319-3500 to register.
