Working with Ribbons, at Twisted Stem

Maybe you felt your gift wrapping technique or the bow on your front door wreath needed a little boost this past season? Join Twisted Stem owner/designer John Regan for the class, Working with Ribbons. In this class, students will learn several classic and innovative ribbon manipulation techniques. You'll start learning classic and innovative ribbon manipulation techniques. Learn variations on the classic bow to warm up then move on to ribbon roses with wired and unwired ribbons. Work on box braiding and end the night learning the tricks to the shrimp braiding that alwyas gets a lot of attention when used in the shop. Students should bring their own pair of sharp scissors of a decent size (not tiny sewing scissors) and any food/beverage they'll care to consume during the two-hour class.
