Shake off the Winter Blues Charity Dinner Dance

The Shake off the Winter Blues Charity Dinner Dance is held each year at the Woodstock Moose Lodge and Family Center. On Friday, January 28th, you will not want to miss the fabulous Italian Buffet Dinner from 6:00 - 7:30 pm, followed by live Music 8:00 pm - midnight. It is held every year on Friday night during the Woodstock Groundhog Days Celebration of events. The event was developed to give back to our local community, support Mooseheart Child City and School, and to hold an event that would bring people from the community, as well as from all over to the city to reminisce about the events of the Groundhog Day movie which was filmed in town, and in the lodge back in 1992. With those thoughts in mind, they pick a different local charity each year and split the proceeds 50/50 between Moose Charities which supports Mooseheart, and the local charity picked each year. This year, proceeds benefit McHenry County Turning Point. The event is an inexpensive evening that includes a dinner, top live music entertainment, raffles, prize drawing and often much more. This event is one surely not to miss during the Woodstock Groundhog Days Celebration. Come on out and dance while we "Shake of the Winter Blues", at the Woodstock Moose Lodges "Shake off the Winter Blues" Groundhog Days Charity Dinner Dance. Tickets are $15.00 each and available at Woodstock Chamber of Commerce and Industry, McHenry County Community Foundation, Woodstock Public Library and the Woodstock Moose Lodge
