Barb Kindinger, Landscape Designer, shows how you can make a difference in McHenry County by incorporating native plants into your landscape. Special guests from The Land Conservancy of McHenry County will highlight Project Quercus and how you can help protect, preserve and regenerate McHenry County's diminishing Oak Woodlands. Noon What To Grow From Seed! Kim Hartmann will introduce you to new seed varieties that are great for starting perennials, annuals or vegetables, as well as those 'tried and true' and heirloom varieties! 1pm Winter Bird Care Enjoy a beautiful slide presentation by Darlene Fiske of the McHenry County Audubon Society while she teaches you the best way to care for your feathered friends this cold winter season.
