Welcome Home, Cranes!

Join us to welcome the sandhill cranes as they arrive this spring. Find out about their journey north from warmer climes. We will discover more about their life habits and why they choose McHenry County as a place to nest and raise their young. Come prepared for the weather and to listen for their bugling calls! Important: Youth under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult who is also registered for this program. To register for this program online be sure and include both the adult and all youths on the same order! Location: Lyons Prairie & Marsh Date: March 19 Time: 3:00-4:30 p.m. No Fee Residents. Non-resident fee $5
