Chicagoans Step Out and Help Prevent Child Abuse at Wrigley Start Early Run & Walk

Chicagoans will try to raise more than $200,000 during Child Abuse Prevention Month at the 13th annual Wrigley Start Early Run & Walk. The event will help build awareness and raise money to keep children safe and prevent abuse and neglect. In addition at least 16 other child-focused organizations through-out the Chicagoland community will participate and benefit from the eventˇ¦s proceeds, making it a true community event. More than 3,000 individuals and families running and walking for a great cause! The Berenstain Bears, Americaˇ¦s best known bear family, will mix and mingle! A special Kids Area will be on-site, which will include a creative face painter, a colorful balloon artist, the popular Bounce House and one other large game! The race will be at Grant Park's Hutchinson Field, Chicago (Columbus at Balbo) on Saturday, April 23. The cost is $10-$35 (free for Kids Dash). 9:00 a.m. - 5K start 9:15 a.m. - 10K start 9:30 a.m. - 1 Mile Walks Kids dash starts after the walk/runs are completed
