Need a Free Garden? Marengo Community Garden

Sign up begins now for free garden plots in the new Marengo Community Garden at the NE corner of Prospect and Greenlee across from the MORE Center. Reserve your plot and provide healthy, delicious and fresh produce for you and your family. Anyone willing to garden may sign up at the Marengo Food Pantry, 829 Greenlee St. beginning today from 9:00am until noon on Wednesdays and from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Thursdays, until April 30th. Free seeds will be given for each plot and a Master Gardener will be available on site, (rain or shine) Saturday April 30th at 2:00pm to answer questions. Small tomato and pepper plants will be distributed Saturday, May 21st at 2pm and the Master Gardener will again be available to advise. Se habla espanol.
