Book Buddies Reading at the Library

If your child is reading independently, but needs practice, reading aloud can strengthen reading skills. We now offer two Book Buddy options! NEW— Book Buddies Drop-In: During April, drop in to the Program Room at the Huntley Area Public Library on Tuesdays between 4:30 and 5:30 for a brief practice reading session with one of our adult volunteers. If this drop-in timeslot doesn’t fit your schedule, register at the Children’s Desk to be paired with a Book Buddy to meet weekly on a day/time that works for you. Book Buddies Reading at the Library is available on April 5, 12, 19 & 26. For Ages 7 & up! For more information, please call 847.669.5386 ext. 26. The Huntley Library is located at 11000 Ruth Road.
