Movie Screening: GREENFIRE Aldo Leopold and the Land Ethic in the 21st Century
Celebrate Earth Day by joining us for the regional premier of the recently released film GREENFIRE! This new movie introduces us to the famed conservationist and writer Aldo Leopold. It frames his life in historical context of the American environmental movement, while tracing his legacy through conservation projects today. The film will encourage us to think about Leopold's Land Ethic idea and how it applies to the environmental challenges we currently face. "Greenfire" will be shown from 7-8:30 p.m. on April 22 at the Lost Valley Visitor Center. For more information and to register visit www.mccdistrict.org. Lost Valley is located in Glacial Park at Route 31 & Harts Road.
