Come One, Come All to “The Greatest FUN Fair on Earth”
If you enjoy playing games, winning prizes, eating hot dogs, pizza, popcorn, and cotton candy all while having lots of fun with family and friends, then the District 158 Education Foundation’s first annual Fun Fair is the place you want to be on Friday, May 6! This year’s theme will take participants under the big top for a circus-like experience. For only $5.00 per person, families can purchase a punch pass that will allow the participant to play eight designated games, receive a popcorn and a door prize raffle ticket. $1 concession tickets and .50¢ tickets for additional games will also be available for purchase at the door. Raffle tickets will also be available for your chance to win some fabulous prizes! And, of course, what would a circus be without animals? You won’t see lions and tigers or elephants, but you can visit the Side Show where naturalist Dan Mitchell of the Bartlett Nature Center will introduce you to Madagascar hissing cockroaches, a 120-pound Burmese python, and other slithering snake friends and rockin’ reptiles. Each 10-minute presentation is quite humorous and engaging and is FREE to all participants. After the show, you can take your picture with your favorites and even participate in a hands-on encounter. This family focused event promises to be FUN for all! So, come one, come all to the Greatest FUN Fair on Earth!
